I think it's very important that patients are treated with the utter most respect and also provided with accurate information. Unfortunately this has not been the case on two occasions and this made me very disappointed. I felt that from the reception to the GP I visited, their attitude towards the patients was considered as if it's just another job i.e. "Get it done with quickly". I don't know these people and I am sure they are good people, but my expectations of friendliness, being patient and providing accurate information was by far from being good. It's a simple and general rule, that people working at the GP should have a liking towards their patients ( paramount ) and just take a little bit more time ( just a little, I know their time is precious ) to ensure that the patients are fine and have all the information when they leave the praxis. The GP's are payed by the NHS, I pay taxes to the government and I hope this attitude will change in the near future.
